Learning to dive is about becoming comfortable, capable and aware underwater. We build those skills one step at a time.
Your first diving qualification
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the starting point for a recreational diving certification. You learn how equipment works, how to communicate and how to plan a dive with a buddy. Pool practice gives you time to get used to unfamiliar skills before taking them into the sea.
Our usual course runs over three days, with study arranged before or around the practical sessions. Progress depends on completing the knowledge, watermanship and diving requirements; certification isn’t automatic.
What you’ll do
- Understand the essentials. Work through PADI eLearning and discuss anything that needs explaining.
- Practise in the pool. Get comfortable with breathing, mask skills, equipment, buoyancy and buddy procedures.
- Make four training dives. Put the skills together under instructor supervision in open water.
Course price: ฿14,500
Equipment, learning materials, boat fees and certification processing are included, with local transfers and lunch and water on boat days. The ฿900 online deposit is credited to the course price, leaving ฿13,600.
